a waste of time
I went to the city of Khon Kaen today with Gui2, our new science teacher from France just to extend our working visas and we were unable to get it. A simple error on the dates made by our school secretary with our paperwork screwed it up. I was so disappointed and worried for my visa expires on Sunday. Luckily it fell on a Sunday, so I can still go back on Monday and have it extended without any penalty fees. I hope there would be no problem next time else I would freak out. I just wish that there is specific information provided by the immigration office regarding paperwork needed that is available online. How am I supposed to know that there would be a problem? How can I make sure that my documents are okay? Having specific by-the-book instruction would eliminate going back and forth and wasting time and money.
